So I was at the Dutch premiere of Helvetica at Kriterion last friday. The film was pretty cool, although slightly longish. I especially liked the city montages between the interviews as they came with better music and less self-indulgence than… say, Massimo Vignelli’s bit. Of course he is a genius but still. Also, I would have liked to have seen more of Hermann Zapf, he was on screen...

The new Safari 3 beta for Mac fixes some nasty webkit rendering bugs, like the one where absolutely positioned content is not re-rendered after scrolling, causing parts of the page to disappear. That bug was really annoying me on the For Inspiration Only website.
